§ Drove pre-determined routes using
Delorme Street Atlas using windows based laptop.
§ Conducted 911 test using PSAP SIM
cards installed in cell phones.

GSM phones to conduct testing.
§ Connected to a VPN and the Scout

§ Transmitted my location using GPS
Equipment to scout servers to test the wireless location accuracy of the
Cell Towers of the given network.Ensured that the required number of
reference points was made for the individual routes I was driving. The
company was mainly contracted with ATT Networks for Testing.Worked with a centrally
located supervisor via telephone to make sure that the required data was
correctly being received and collected. Although I was in the field
by myself and worked independently.I was involved with other Special
Projects where I mapped out the internal GPS coordinates of buildings using
a compass and measuring equipment. In this special project I worked at night
during a predetermined window and conducted a comparison test of 3 Cell
Networks by calling a live 911 operator and verifying that the calls were
being received as Wireless Phase 2 calls.During these special projects I
logged the number of calls made with each network and the results of the
tests and e-mailed a daily Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to a
Supervisor.During these special projects I had to interact with various
people such as campus security and also had the keys which allowed me
access to various buildings. Also was involved with BSC Migrations in
several markets which involved working at night. Being on a bridge
phone call with other workers and doing live 911 test calls to verify that
the call was being received as a Wireless Phase 2 call and being routed to
the correct 911 call center.
§ Had to log mileage and do weekly
expense reports on Excel spread sheet that was submitted at the end of each
week.
